Two-factor authentication is a security feature that helps protect your Facebook account in addition to your password. If you set up two-factor authentication, you’ll be asked to enter a special security code or confirm your login attempt each time someone tries accessing Facebook from a computer or mobile device we don’t recognize. You can also get alert when someone tries logging in from a computer we don’t recognize.
Here are few precise steps on how to do it.
Step 1.
Ensure that you are logged into your Facebook account on your android phone. You can download the Facebook app on Google play store or Click here
In the upper right corner of your screen, click the upside-down triangle menu

Click on the Account menu

Click on Account Settings when prompted

Click on security and Login menu
Step 5
On the setting up extra security menu, click on Use two-factor authentication
STEP 6.
Click on the checkbox at the right upper corner
Step 7.
Click on the start setup tab
Step 8
You’ll receive a menu that provides the details of your phone number and if you want to change the number you can click on change the number otherwise click Continue
Step 9
Input the confirmation code sent to you through an SMS and click Continue.
Step 10.
Congratulations! Now you have enable a two-factor authentication on your Facebook account. Click on the Checkbox and then click on the close tab.
