The Computer Misuse and Cybercrimes Act has been assented to by President Uhuru Kenyatta on 16th May 2018.
It provides various offenses relating to computer systems. This is with the objective of enable timely and effective, prevention, detection, prohibition, response, investigation and prosecution of computer and cybercrimes. The act further provides a means for international co-operation in dealing with computer and cybercrime matters.
